Speaker wire should add very little to the overal impedance (resistance). That's why we use good quality speaker wire! If anything the additional speaker wire resistance will help the situation of low resistance of speakers in parallel by bumping up impedance. Now, another issue of doing this is for most amps the lower the speaker resistance the lower quality (more noise) the sound will have. Good amps will handle lower impedances, but typically an amp rating of 2 ohm load minimum will not play super clean with higher frequencies at that resistance. The amp will also tend to run hotter as well, possibly shortening the life. Just some things to consider.
