Whew! I'm sure there won't be another one on the water that looks like that X-2. Wow. I bought mine for the same reasons as above, only bad thing was I had the opportunity to order it exactly how I wanted it and just chose the same design as a boat they sold 30 minutes before. I have zero imagination!

Love the all white. I had 2 all white Malibu's. No problem selling. Three weeks ago I had a person chase me down on the water. He said just that. "That is the best looking boat I've ever seen". He purchased it 2 weeks later. Go figure! I didn't even custom order this one. (Message edited by larrys on August 02, 2007)

I just started appreciating a true wakeboat. Owned an 84 mini daycruiser, and rode a Toyota Epic for a summer. I decided I needed a wakeboat and looked online for as much info as possible (I didn't know any wakeboat owners yet, and had zero known sources). I narrowed my choices to VLX, LSV, Epic SX, and then saw the Pro-V......I was impressed by the interior size (I was used to a mini-day cruiser and a D-drive), and the sharp hull lines. I figured most wakeboats would be comparable in quality, Calabria and Malibu dealers liked their boats too much, and Toyotas were an extinct brand (but I did find one that had about 30hrs on it). I spoke to an out of town salesman who gave me a price about 13k less than my local dealer for a custom ordered 05 Pro-V (in AUG 2004). It was even less than my local guys stripped 04 floor model. Picked it up in 2 weeks, and he let me write a posted dated check for 40 grand and drive away. I never met the guy till I picked it up.

After selling one of my Ski Nautique 2001's, I was hoping that I'd find a replacement for it in the form of a SAN. I wanted to take more people out, yet have the same reliability and amount of years of enjoyment as my family's previous boats (CC Mustang 16 then the Ski Nautique). I came very close to towing a 2003 Super Air Nautique all the way back from Texas, but it was sold before I was able to make a move. Months later, I was lucky enough to find a gorgeous, sensibly priced Super Sport Nautique right in Conneticut. I later rebranded it as a SAN. The thing had 43 hours on it, and I got it for 29,000 - it is a 2001 that I bought in early 2004. It was just the deal of the decade for me. So I have zero, absolutely zero complaints. Aside from my wedding band, it is my favorite inanimate object in the world. My wife has been getting used to driving it too. She can dock it and drive it without having panic attacks. She has pulled me a few times but she claims that it makes her too nervous sometimes. But when nobody is out she can pull me. (Message edited by juniorhawk on August 02, 2007)

Was dead set on a Bu because of fit and finish etc. But then I checked out the Wakecraft and fell in love with it both functionally, economically as well as the handling drive etc. and the wake is killer from skiing to wakesurfing. I'd put its wake's up against any other boat 20-22'. Not impulse at all. Studied all my choices for a year before taking the dive. Boats in the profile pic. I'm hooked with them now just because of the care I get from them. Whether its just a question about something or a request to try different props etc. they have bent over backwards for me and the others I know that have one.

Wow, I bet the guy that bought Baby Blue X2 is feeling great about his purchase after reading that the boat he chose was thought to never sell.

haha, luckily he is not a fellow wakeworlder, and i told him straight up how everyone was giving me flack about ordering that color of boat..but Leo is exactly right, it was the new "seaside" blue color from MC, im always down to try something different, so i figured what color combo looks good with baby blue..and the first thing that came to my head was the north carolina tarheels colors, so..we went with it..when the boat got here..people either loved it..or hated it..we took it to our boat show and people actually LOVED the boat at the show..saying how unique it was and how theyve never seen something like that..i wish i had some pics of it on the water..it really does look awesome!

NWS, I don't see why you thought no body would buy that boat. It seems like all of the fashion trends are going to lighter colors. I am not a fan of it, but it seems like all the frats and sorority kids are wearing/driving lighter colors. Not me, but like I said, seems like a recent trend.

It wasnt me that thought nobody would buy the boat, it was some fellow co-workers of mine that just thought the boat was not a good looking boat, personally i love the boat! it was more of a joke cause there have been boats ordered in the past that have taken 2 even 3 years to sell, all in the buyer i guess..

I guess some styles come back full swing. That X2 with the baby blue and the pickle fork looks a lot like a tri-hull from the late-70s. At least it's not the pink-and-teal color combo from the 80s.

Love my 07 X2. I initially hated the pickle fork. Now I think it is the best thing since sliced bread. I researched for a year and was originally set on Supra because I was drawn by their looks. Test drove Supra, Correct Craft, Malibu, and MC. I went through all the options and price points. After everything I picked the MC and love it. I chose for several reasons, fit and finish, color choice, service support, warranty support, and most importantly, how they drove on the water and felt. Only Snow Camo Super Air on Berryessa. Walked in to the dealer with no expectations, saw the boat, bought the boat.(After a little negotiating) Great boat with a great wake. How could I go wrong buying a SANTE. I have no regrets.

We test rode every major player in the field. Malibu, Tige, Master Craft, Correct Craft and Centurion. We narrowed it down to our wakesetter and a super air. The choice was made on the dealer ship and the price and resale value. My girl liked our boat color and graphics better too. I could have cared if it were bubble gum pink with purple seats. It was all about function for me.

i just found a boat within my price range(which was only about 20k-25k). obviously you dont have alot of options on a limited budget so i found a 1995 super sport nautique in phoenix. drove down there wrote a check for 18,500 and took her home. i didnt get to pick out the colors, interior or anything. those had been picked out some 12 years ago

True but Im not sure if it will be for sale... have no need to upgrade at this point the interior, the wake, etc doesn't get a whole lot better elsewhere IMO. Then again for the 2 weeks the dealer had it after delivery he said he could've sold it to atleast 4 or 5 interested parties.

no the tribal was in 2006 when the boat was purchased. The dealer fixed a couple warranty issues, water tested and then scratched up our tribal graphics. Now we have the 07 (Grunge graphics) maybe that's what their called. old new
