I tried to clear this 40 ft gap at a recent slider comp, close, but no cigar.

I knew that was coming, I DID snap that deck the next week, it was old and beat up already and that was one of two hits it ever saw on a slider. Goes to show why MOST of the time I dont complain when I snap my deck haha.

Oh, so we want to argue about this? Go back to my posts... When I hit sliders and then the board breaks, I dont complain. When I DONT hit sliders and my boards break, I get a little hot. Especially when they are all breaking in the same fashion, sliders or not, and after four sets of riding. So maybe, SCREW YOU?

That was also the first and only time Ive ever attempted something like that, and it was on an old beat up deck with epoxy all over it already....not highly valued. But I guess just because its a CWB I shouldnt be able to share my stoke for the attempt huh?

Not so, you were really close to gapping the rail. How fast was the PWC pulling you?

Around 24 MPH. I think it would be easier to gap behind a boat with a tower, the PWC was kind of pulling me down a bit.

Mike don't let them get to you. As you said you knew you had it coming. Nice attempt none the less. I agree with Nacho... 25 and it was yours.

haha I got you good. way to take the high road. Can I ask why you tried to backside gap it? that seems a bit harder... If you wanna make it try it full on frontside, it will allow you to push off evenly from both feet and potentially ride away.

That rail is not gap friendly anyway.. Your fall would have probably been harder if you made it. There weren't any rails that were a bit wider..? I love wakeworld.

I'll bet antbug touches himself every time a Nikon user posts up an "inferior" picture.
