I'm probably behind the times about the whole bob archer thing and liquid force suing everyone, but I just heard company had to go out of business because of the lawsuit. really liked what company was doing and was excited to see where they were going.
Personally I don't think I'll buy liquid force, Hyperlite, cwb, or o'brien again. Its all small companys from now on for me.
Are there others that feel the same or am I over reacting?

It is what it is and I don't blame them for sueing. Owning a company myself makes it easier to understand I guess. They are doing this to protect their own company for the present and future time in regards to income. The law is the law.

did Company poach an LF shape? if not, what was the basis of the suit?
I understand protecting a company's (LF) investment in board development, but small companies like Company are good for the sport. Hate to see the 800 lb gorilla push the small guys out.

I just wish they could have worked around it without having to shut down.... even if that meant shutting their boot line down and still mfg boards and that sick vandall handle.

Company boots look better than any LF boot. Maybe they were jealous?

Good point. LF went through all the process of R&D and IP submission, and then Company took the outcome of all of that and made it look "better", and that was their "innovation". Why would LF want to uphold the work that it had done?

a-dub, where have you been? You sound like an idiot and should take a hard look at that patent and company's "innovation" as you called it

Through all the forums and descriptions on patents and the lawsuit, i had heard some other information. I dont want to bad mouth anyone from company, and this could be untrue, but did anyone else hear that Company had some financial discrepancies. I heard apparently they were doing some misguided acts to their financial records, and Liquid Force big wigs knew about it. I dont know, just what ive been told
