I was just wondering how difficult wakeskating is. I wanna try but I'm not sure if I should get a board or not b/c if it's too difficult to do new things I think I may get bored. Should I just go for the cheapest board out there or not even bother???

Pretty Difficult. Ryan Doyle.

Ride a bunch of decks and get one that feels comfortable to you. If your board shop won't let you demo then go somewhere else.

Its DEFENITLY worth trying, I completely suck at it but I think its more fun than wakeboarding, my feet never get sore, I like being able to move my feet. I like the loose feeling on the water. Try a friends board to see if you like it, or take the bindings off your wakeboard and throw some surf wax on there and grab an old pair of sneakers an try riding to see if you like the feeling of not being attached to the board. If you like it, do what Hahn said, go and demo some boards. I'd start out with a basic cheap flat deck and pregress from there. they're the easiest to learn on and will prolly last you a season or two plus you can get 'em for under $100 if you shop arround. Good luck and have fun!
