I don't know about the Emily thing, but I talked to Darin yesterday and he said that he had just put in his order for all his Liquid Force gear.

settle down robert. you take me way too seriously.

you want a different argument? how's this? do you think lf got rid of emily to make room for darin?

I don't know about dumping Ms. C-D for Snapiro....but as far as I am concerned, E.C. is my favorite rider and I throw my support and dollars behind any team she rides for.....

Well....maybe not, but she is still my favorite rider and someone should pick her up and mass market her.....starting with a large poster. She can be the Farrah poster for this generation of kids....

Speaking if LF....did they drop Nautiques as their tow boat for Trip Across America?

This year they are pulling a big green Malibu Wakesetter LSV.
Old     (deuce)      Join Date: Mar 2002       03-31-2005, 11:33 AM Reply
Makes sense if for no other reason, they have MUCH more room for people to hang in the boat.

I'm sure Darin had something to do with that Malibu. Seems too coincidental.

Either way, that will be one sweet rig.

I wonder if Darin will get his own board next year, or if they'll re-name the team board.

i think its a good fit. a older rider to balance out some of the younger talent. from that article(referring to jimmy redmon) sounds like he is going to have a pro model as well.

you know joe ,I did talk to Darin yesterday ,when I was hanging at da track,I'v been so bizzy taken care of my customers that pay ,it's pretty hard for me to pay someone to ride the BEST board around.Darin did call me & told he still has a open mind to ride TEAM MOOSE someday.15 min later I hit a Tri. for $660. Oh well
But someday I would like to add Darin to my LIST OF CHAMPIONS & LEGENDS

I thought L.F. owned O'Brien
So what was the big switch
Old    malibu36            04-05-2005, 5:35 PM Reply
with the exception of gator boards and collin wright boards all of the board companies, hyperlite, cwb, o'brien, lf, etc., are now owned by the same person (cant think of his name)

Kent Sports if I'm not mistaken...

ya ,I know who your talking about ,I'm not a good name person,I'm more of a numbers guy
Old     (electricsnow)      Join Date: May 2002       04-06-2005, 11:00 AM Reply
a numbers guy...like 420? I'm just kidding! I'm sorry, I just could't resist...I just couldn't...

but I'm bad with names too. Watson had his pic taken with bob archer--isn't he involved with kent somewhere? I can't remember all of the sordid details anymore.

The naked chef comes through with a pun!Nice one~!

What's up, Moose!

Yes, it's Bob Archer who has invested in quite a few of the wake companies. I believe the parent company is Kent Sports.

Gator Boards and Hydroslide are the largest of the widely distributed board manufacturers who've maintained their sole ownership. There are a number of smaller entities (Cassette, Kampus, many of the wakesurf manufacturers)are going it alone.

whew, that's quite a compliment coming from the master of verbosity. :-) Or, I suppose the verbosity thing is debatable, but someone I spoke to, in turn, spoke highly of you and said that you "have the gift of gab."

And with that said, somehow I feel like I just stole one of your moves...(ha)

And with that said...
