If you get the opportunity to ride this boat, do it. Pictures don't do it justice as I was surprised at just how fun/different this wake is from any other boat that I have rode. Great push, nice defined lip, and gobs of length. Utilizing the Power Wedge 2, we were able to manipulate the wake to the riders preference (my favorite stats below). It'd be fun next time out to get a regular rider and experiment with the plug n' play to see the potential effects on the wake.
Ballast: MLS all full (subfloor). No plug n' play and no sacs on the floor. 2 people in the boat, 1 rider.
Yesterday I got to ride/drive/party in the M235. The wakeboard wake is terrifying--just like the first time you ride a G. I'm a strong rider and it took a few hits just to recalibrate. We had 12 people and the 550s in the back with the wedge in the 2 spot. The wake is similar to the shape of the MXZs for wakeboarding, but considerably bigger. It is really weird hitting longer edging tricks because it really does feel like a double-up every hit. No matter how fast you edge in, it transfers the energy straight up. Words can't do it justice, you need to ride one if you get a chance.
One rumor to put to rest is that its price is that they are not $200K unless you get really creative. They are about the same price as a supercharged G23. Soon you will be able to order a M235 with the 450 and that will cut the cost considerably.
The price of these boats is getting ridiculous. I could buy a house by the beach and go surfing everyday for the cost of a boat to surf behind.
This is my ride for the summer, I sprung for the upgraded model with cup holders
