Nick, I wasn;t sure about that towe until I was in Portland and drove to Oregon city and checked out the Tomcats. I couldn't believe how sturdy they were. Great looking boat and nice tower speakers.

I like the Tomcat tower too. How much do the forward facing lights help? The B-52 towers look good too, the Tomcat tower is just a little more attention grabbing.

It was briefly on Saturday. The guy who puts the lifts in said it was in and ready but he didn't put the deep water legs on the lift so i put it on the lift and the back just sunk. So, i had to trailer it back home. The boat patrol both came up and checked it out at the ramp. They were pretty cool this time. One of them at least.

What exactly did they check at the ramp? I'm hoping to get out next weekend. How was the water?

just the boat, and to make sure I had the stickers, and to order me to put my dog back in the car. typical BS. I had just seen them at the store too and talked to one of them about the boat then they followed me to the ramp to make sure i had stickers.

My favorite shot of my boat: I added 400lbs of pop bags to the 2500lbs stock. Wake is sick. Now I just need to heal quick so I can get out & enjoy it. Oh, and I need to tint the windows...

Maybe the "one of kind in Canada" MB TomCat... with blue black white graphic gets posted up here... it was stolen last week right off the dealership lot which is along the main street through Kelowna.

Dan, I've thought about going with a color scheme similar to yours for my new MB. But I'm nervous about getting the black on the deck and interior due to it getting way too hot. Have you had any problems with that? I think it looks awesome but I wonder if I would regret it.

The textured vinyl is only on the black accent swooshes, everything else is smooth. It looks killer. I did see one with textured vinyl (in an off-white) for the whole interior, and while it looked great, it was really reflective when you put it in the sun..and the glare from the interior killed the deal on that one.

It's the same system as used on the Calabria Pro-V. It's called the PureVert System. Basically, there are 2 switches to open 2 gates (while not moving forward). There are no pumps, it's all gravity fed into tanks integrated into the hull below the floor. When full, you close the gates. When you want to empty, you open the gates and move forward and gravity pulls the water out of the tanks. Calabrias have b/t 750 (Pro-V and Pro-V2) and the Team edition has 1000lbs. My new Tomcat has 2400 lbs! It's ultra reliable, and (IMHO) the best ballast system out there. Fills in less than a minute, empties in 15 seconds (Tomcat takes a little longer due to how much more ballast it has). MB has also baffled the tanks, so you don't feel any sloshing inside the tanks to disrupt the boat. Way cool...

yea the only think I can think of for the strap would be that he has to have the rear straps on and tight and then attach the bow strap that way the two would pull against each other holding the boat in place, it looks cool but def not optimum. I'll try and get some up of my tomcat shortly. Love these boats, I don't think I'd own a wake boat by any other company...
