I'm pretty sure those are essentially the same boat save for graphics. If wakeboarding was your primary activity you would be better off with the sport/air nautique IMO.
I have a 92...similar with a slightly different hull design. Karl is correct...with 1000# it will be decent. That weight will take up a lot of floor space though. A tower will help you eliminate some of the clutter, so that's a great idea. If you ski also, this might be a good option.
That boat is a comp boat and has one of the best slalom wakes out there! It will not be good for wakeboard at all, unless you are only interested surface tricks.
If you use enough wieght and distribute it properly, you should be able to get a fun wake with either one of those boats. It probably won't be great, but sufficient for recreational wakeboarding. If you are serious about wakeboarding I would get an older model Sport Nautique or Super Sport.
