I'm looking at Phoenix Gold amplifiers and I see ratings like "Into 4, 2 and 1 ohm stereo ..... 200x2" "Into 8, 4 and 2 ohm bridged .... 400x1" Normally with amplifiers, the output power increases inversely to the speaker impedance. (Ohms go down, output power goes up) However, PG sort-of indicates that the output power will maintain the same irregardless of ohm loading. Am I understanding this correctly? Or will these amps behave like any other amp?
