My boat is just chillin in the driveway right now...ready to go. I'm not sure if I will be able to ride this weekend or not...I got my stitches out today, but the doctor said the wound is a little tender still. We'll see though... Right from the boat to urgent care...haha

Nice one Nick. Female friend of ours took an awkward fall and the tail of the board bit her on the cheek! Few stitches, but she didn't wanna stop riding!

Nick, nice battle wound. I've already slammed my face into my knees this year. Some of you witnessed that. Cut my lips up good on the inside but no stitches. I still have some scar tissue in my lower lip that's annoying.

Jay, the swap is this Friday and Saturday, your best bet is to get your stuff here no later than Thursday. We had a group of people waiting outside last year and they scooped up all the good stuff. Long Lake was about 60 degrees yesterday, chilly but not freezing plus we were the only people riding.

cool. you can plan on an unused 2007 Gator Legend (143cm), and a brand spanking new pair of 2008 SS D2's (size 11) being delivered to you tomorrow afternoon. how does the pricing work? do we just tell you what we'll let it go for?

Anthony, Bald Eagle is 55.4 on the surface in 2 feet of water. I've been out the last 3 days straight...my stereo stopped working the other day But after digging around in the boat for a few hours, I figured out my Wet Sounds EQ was toast, after two weeks of use! I bypassed the EQ and everything still works fine. It was a solid weekend, but I rode in silence. I'll take butter water over music any day off the week though!

"Funny, Our Wetsounds EQ died too. Lucky our boy Evan was able to save the day by disconnecting it, and getting the tunes playing again." I was going to head to Radioshack and buy a bunch of RCA splitters, but I was so pissed off I didn't want to spend $10 bucks to ghetto rig it for a day. Ohh and I converted Eder over to Gator...he wants nothing to do with Slingshot any more and he enjoys lying about future events in Duluth. Anthony, bring your wetsuit mang. Its nippy.

Members of the Lake Bavaria Possee were out yesterday, John T., Jesse, and I. I just wore a heater shirt, booties and gloves. The water was cold but not bad at all. Awesome day. BTW, Eder, you better start figuring out how that tent goes together.

Mike - Chad just confirmed... He scored a sponsorship offer from Epic and "WE" all talked him into finally taking them up on the offer!!! That is Chad's new baby! Mike - the event will be on Saturday from 10-3 on park point on the shoreline. UMD students are holding a kayak and volleyball event there and were are gonna be down the shoreline, just got a confirmation from my guy and he is up finishing some rails and should be there. Kites and a winch will definitely be present.

EVERYBODY - As far as the event on this Saturday. There will be a winch, kites, kiteboards, paddle boards. We WILL have 2-3 rails (I am picking up to 16 foot rails on Friday night and towing them up to Duluth) The event will take place in Park Place from 10-3 and we will begin to set up at 8 am. The event should be rad, hope to see a lot of you there supporting what we are putting together. Please note that this is one of the first of MANY events to come. Many of the future one's will be in the cities...We're in the process of planning one and getting permits for an event in Bald Eagle!

Anthony, the Epic's have come down a little. They're now at $67K plus shipping. That's fully loaded, no options needed. Compare that to the big boy's boats with the same size engine and it's reasonable.

I emailed the poster and here is what I got in reply. I will also load one picture, I was sent about 10. Hello, Thank you for your interest in purchasing my boat. The boat is in perfect condition - like new! If you decide to buy it, you'll receive all the papers, owner manual, keys, a buy-sell contract already signed by me and the clear title. For this transaction I want to use ebay because I want to provide you a fast and very secure way. They will handle the transaction for me. You will make a $ 2,800 deposit to ebay and they will hold the deposit until you receive and inspect the boat. ONLY AFTER you receive the boat and you inspect it (you have 5 days for inspection) ebay will release the deposit to me. You will also have to pay the balance after delivery and inspection. The inspection time period will begin as soon as you receive the boat at your address. Meanwhile eBay will hold the deposit into a trust account. So, this is not a blind transaction, you can see the boat before you decide to buy it. This way we are both protected : i will know that i have a serious buyer who has the money to pay me and you will be able to see and inspect the boat before buying it . The final price is $ 5,600 with shipping costs and insurance included. The price is low because I want to sell the boat very quickly. My husband died in Iraq 3 months ago and I along with my daughter decided to sell the house and move to my sister. I can't afford to take days off my work for this sale so i'm trying to sell it online. If you are really interested in purchasing the boat please send me your full name, shipping address and your phone number. Ebay will give you all the details regarding the shipping and payment. I will appreciate an answer as soon as possible. Regards! Karen Moody P.S. : Below are the pictures i have taken for this sale . Please take a closer look before you decide .

i would plan on going to Fisherman's Inn. there is a pretty decent launch there. also, that is where the waterski show team practices...you might be able to find a person or two that will want to go out with you. they should also be able to inform you of where and where not to go. if you do happen to locate some of the ski team there try finding Dave Butland. he is a super cool guy and could probably tell you all you need to know about the lake, as well as possibly introducing you to some people that like to board. just tell him Jay Fogelson told you to look him up.

If all goes as planned with a 24 hour crew, we hope to be done with the 12s in time for the long weekend. I hope to be still coherant enough to get my boat out at least once on that weekend. Hope all is well Later guys BTW Chad, congrats on the boat, I cant wait to ride it.

I have been behind both. I used to own an '07 20SSV and I've ridden behind the '09 Gravity Games 24. Now, I'm not the greatest rider by any means but the only difference I could tell is size when fully loaded up. They both have steeper wakes from my recognition. a much better rider than myself told me the 24 'is like a wall' (fully loaded). It was boosting him straight up.
