the new upper class LF kite binding. Should be the same boot as the shane. Shane boot will be grey/black.
Ultra, transit and vantage OT should stay the same.
haven't seen the wake catalog jet but kite boards look great, guess the wake stuff will be cool too.
wonder where the ronix catalog is this year

Liquid_Force_Kiteboarding_2011_Catalog.pdf google and download... its just the kite catalog but desin should be similar.
@ Josh: nice pics! i found nothing better than what i posted but your pics are great. well nothing special, right but his board is sick and i love this minimal cool design. its not this 200% too much design we had the last 2 years. Onle the ronix cell 2009 was nice looking and 2011 there will be many many boots that look well balanced.
The bill isnt that funky but i guess maaaaany guys will go for the phoenix this year and not for the bill, i hope the phoenix has not too much flex

@ English : a compromise must be found let's say 1/3 is nice .... but than the graphics begin :P somehow the bill looks unfinished compared with the 2010 .. the 2010 had so many details the 2011 has none .. only some wired not too funny stuff on the base.. the viva or even the vault looks much cleaner. the bill looks cheaper than it is

I haven't seen the online pics but when I saw the graphics a few weeks ago down in Aus I really liked them. Maybe something is lost with these pics cause I didn't feel like they were lacking and I'm usually the first one to complain about graphics..... Plus it gave me an excuse to tell Luke to shut his face......

I'm sure Ronix is thrilled to have a link to their dealer website posted. It's one thing to post pictures that are already on the internet on public sites, but another thing to post links to their private dealer site.

@English: maybe i just dont like the face on the board the rest is just fine. I liked the 2009 so much and the 2010 was so much cleaner and funny and had the blackboard on it and a metal decal.... I dont need that stuff but somehow i was waiting for something special like that. But whatever nobody will look at the board if you have the Frank boots on it :P
@ Andrew: last year i got the catalog and posted it and was asked to remove it ... and so i did (don t rememberexactly but it was only for a few hours online) 3 days later i guess the pics were online on the first page of SQUARE1. Ok this year you had to look closely to find them but if they wouldnt like us to see them they would use as pswd or at least a short message that its for dealers only... the square1 page isnt that secret is it? and im neither a dealer nor a teamrider... i just found it yesterday and posted it today because i liked it, after i posted it i recognized that i was the first who clicked on some pics (on most 2nd or 3rd) but I dont see any point why this is a private site...

jep,
this should be his "normal" board. The multicolour looks a bit like the old FLX.
I guess you can see the wood through the light yellow or light red.

I believe it was JD Webb who appeared to have what looked like a snowboard binding on his wakeboard this weekend at Red Bull National wake. Not sure if it was just a prototype or actually something hyperlite is doing for next year, but definitely an interesting concept...

@ sp0tts: i tried to puzzle the pics in the hyperlite newsletter. Took one hour but i strongly believe you are right.
pic 9 and pic 11 could be a binding. I thought they would habe boots with a bukle like inlineskates but pic 8 could be the boot bottom. maybe... the last pics might be the binding frame ... puuuh
btw: ever seen the most expensive quality snowboard binding? LF used it for testing with the snow kite board .... its sooooooo great :P

Click above to CWB's facebook page. They have asked for a post and in turn they would show the new 2011 CWB Vibe. Head over to their facebook page and show support for the new photos.

interesting that they made it so the total of the whole system comes to the same price as about any other high end binding out there, i was thinking that they were going to use this system as a way to make lots more money but it seems they didnt good move hyperlite

feet will be directly on board, and boots are actually boots, so the feel is different than the bulky boots ........................and if i had to guess boots will be probably be around the $250 range..... the $300 is projected. You could easily replace your boots every season without costing an arm and a leg.

I wonder how many sets of inserts Hyperlite boards are going to come with now? Think they will look like the newer SS with their insert pattern?
I just don't see what the point is except for the cable walking bit. To me it just looks like a way to get inconsistent flex from your boot. I would think a locking system without the ratchet straps would be more functional. Kind of a hybrid between this & a Switch step in.

exactly what I was thinking, this set up would be sweet for the cable walks but otherwise why mess with a system that already works?

I don't really see the point of it all, why do you need to be in separate boots? When you are out on your boat, it is hot, you want to be bare foot or in some flip flops. I have never got done riding and wanted to sit around in some boots, it just seems so damn strange, its not snowboarding, there is just no need for that sort of thing. I could see it being good for a cable boot, but not you high end line of boots. Plus if you have a boat that costs around $100,000 these days, when are you ever going to allow somebody to walk into your boat wearing those?? Stepping onto your seats?? It really blows my mind that they would think that wakeboarding needs this, sure its good that they were trying to be creative and actually come up with something good, because lets be honest, HL has really been lacking in the past few years, but I don't see this helping them, I see it actually hurting them overall. It will probably get a buzz about it, but once people actual think about it I don't see many people buying them and then I doubt HL will make back the money they put into all of the designing and what not. I think it was a waste of their time.

the slingshot boots will still have the removable liner and i think they have a bit of a stronger surface/tread on the liners... at least that was what was in the works for the "2010" R.A.D. boots. but the description of the boots is too simple to be certain yet. but if it were the case it would be a good middle ground between your everyday binding/boot and the new hyperlite system

All opinions here are based on a few photo's I've seen, so its all theory, I don't want to bash anything before its been tested: This is mostly what I was thinking when I first saw the design. Why add the extra step? maybe ride performance is amazing with it? but just seems all a bit fiddly for the boat.
Now everyone who sees it says it must be good for cable...... that has to be tested. One thing that happens at cable is, your stuff get covered in dirt and sand and grit. BOA systems usually don't last too long at cables, wondering how long a ratchet system would hold up? And the souls of the boots better be tough. If these issues are already worked out, then awesome! If not its going to be a bit of a fail for the cable. Time will tell.

well i wouldnt like to walk with boots at the cable BUT:
i really expect much because so many other problems the old boot system has are solved. Boots will not be damaged because you dont have to lace them up that tight... well we will see but i think its the right direction for the future.

I know most of you have seen Sean O'Briens new hybrid flex pro model from O'Brien, since it was featured here a couple of months ago, but if you check out this video you can also get a glimps of the new O'Brien 2011 closed toe bindings, they look pretty sweet to me.
He was riding over in Luxembourg, and was featured on the news:
http://tele.rtl.lu/magazin/reportage/show/?v=23573
You have to get through the first minute of adds, but then you can see them.
As a bonus, the news reporter is kinda hot!

So do those pictures mean the argument "standard binding mounts don't let the board flex properly" is no longer valid?

to an extent and depending on the boot i guess...
SS is going to the fast track system on the boards, so they had to change things up to adapt that. lets face it, the 4 hole was not catching on anyway, as much as i and others were a fan of it. i found myself using that on-the-fly-tooless-adjustment thing occasionally and loved it.
even at the thought of using the fast track there were some that asked "will that not rob flex?" but all i can think about is the snowboards that use it and they flex more.
anyway, i digress, back to the boot.
i forgot to include the source of the photos. http://www.kiteforum.com/viewtopic.p...65227&p=662524
which is the source of a quote that i guess describes how they maintain flex, which is all based on the fact that they are BASELESS --> "The RAD Boot binding is a baseless system that will allow the board to flex naturally and decrease some overall weight which is always a added bouns."
Company Wake did the same thing with their boots, baseless. 1/2 of their boards flex considerably
