My buddy's only invert is a TS frontroll. You just have to be used to tripping yourself properly...

I thought ts fronts would be easier, but I could never stick the landings. Scarecrows came much easier. I also landed ts backroll to reverts before I ever landed a ts backroll. I think it all depends on what comes naturally. I have seen people who cant do a ts wake jump land a scarecrow.

ts fronts are pretty easy I think.... You definately don't have to worry about landing switch like you would the scarecrow. Shame on me, but I don't throw toeside 180's and that seems to hold me back when trying to land scarecrows. However, TS fronts came easy.

Why not just do both? Once you land one regular do the other one. Once you get both then turn the TS front into a scarecrow and then turn the other one into a TS back to revert. By the time you are planing on having 2 new tricks you can have 4.

I have seen too many injuries on this board from Scarecrows. I don't think that I could ever try that particular trick in my wakeboarding career.

Make sure you have a driver that is paying attention when attempting this. At the first of last season mine wasn't and I hit the wake as it was coming over and it dislocated my shoulder. Had to have surgery and was out the whole season! I'm still trying to get the balls to throw it again.

dude, if your gona try a ts front make sure that you keep the handle into your lead hip if you let the handle out its quite easy to start to rotate slightly front side (ie like a elephant) which which can lead to catching some nasty toe edges. I personally find that the scarecrow is a more natural trick (possibly the easiest invert, and its the first one i try to teach people). Try letting go with the front hand that will bring you round to revert nicely. Or try doing it switch its always easier landing on ur natural stance, i find allot of people land it switch first time.

Scarecrow is the easiest IMO. I seen mates spend years trying to land a TS front roll - they didnt even come close. As soon as the started trying a Scarecrow, they were able to land them after a few attempts (completely hucked though)...
