Mellow Man is pretty good, some good bass along with it, but most all are good, some good accoustic in there also. ~Tyler~

Tyler...cool, another Stoopid fan. Awesome band...and nearly not as famous as they are talented. My favorite album "Everything you need". Davis, here is a link to their site http://www.slightlystoopid.com Go to the "discs & lyrics" page click on an album...you can get some mp3s there. Here is a link to the "Ese Loco" mp3. http://www.slightlystoopid.com/audio-video/longest%20barrel%20ride/03%20-%20Ese%20Loco.mp3 Cdnow/Amazon has short samples here http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00008AY6K/qid=1120148117/sr=2-2/ref=pd_bbs_b_2_2/102-4949262-1466530 Warning: Just about every song has a dope reference or theme...so if kids are around it is not the music to play. Along the same lines (but without the drug references) is a band called "Pepper" http://www.pepperlive.com

Chefk out the delta Sessions sound tracks. Almost every band is unsigned and sick. They bands are all local talent and all types of music on there.

Pepper is another good band that Gregg mentioned with some killer boat tunes. Check em out. Does anyone know if there are any members from Sublime in this band? Just started getting into to them but they've got some good stuff.

thanks for the recommendation on swollen members. i bought their "heavy" cd today and i really like it. this is coming from someone who is not too big on hip hop (mostly listen to pennywise, bad religion, etc). great cd. i really like it. i think i will have to check out some of their other cd's.

Tim, man you bought their worst cd, check out balance or bad dreams, that's when they were actually good and not trying to get on MTV or the radio, shoulda never let Moka in the group. If you want some good riding hip hop go with one of these guys. J-Live Jedi Mind Tricks Lexicon Styles OF Beyond Crown City Rockers Del 7L & Esoteric Supastition Heiruspecs 4 Zone Haiku D'etat Zion I Aesop Rock If you want some good punk go with The Ducky Boys The Distance Face Tomorrow Amulet The Goodtimes All Time Low Lifetime

Jethro, Pepper is a band out of Hawaii, and they don't have anyone from sublime. Wicked band, IMO...I got to see them live when I was out there. Long Beach Dub Allstars has the boys from Sublime...they mix in b-sides and outtakes from some of Brad's recordings, I know people who dig it but I am not a big fan... I have been listening to Modest Mouse lately...

Pick up all the tracks from the films "Hit It!" and "Mayday"... The FLF crew always arranges a refreshing bouquet of audio for their films. Both of these movies are older than FROGGY and the music still pours out pure stoke! Good luck. *Honorable Mention- Check out "Richard Cheese" on Limewire, etc. You will find a humorously talented musician covering MANY of the top tunes of our time... The only catch is that it's mostly redone in a SWING / BIG BAND style... It's amazingly good for random tunes.

You've most likley never heard Moka's solo stuff like Lime Green and Flood, or his rhymes on the code name scorpion album with Abstract Rude and Prevail, it's horrible, but to each his own.
