I was thinking about getting a wakeskate but I wasn't too sure because it looks difficult, like the skateboard moves n all. I'm not awesome at skateboarding I can just do small ollies and that's about it. I think wakeskating looks fun but I wasn't sure if after a while it would get boring because I don't know how much I'll be able to progress. Is it that hard to do different things? And is it worth getting one even if I can't learn tricks on the board?
I suck at skateboarding. On a wakeskate I'm all happy when I can break it about 2 inches off the water. I've also found out powerslides aren't the best idea (as I was rolling across the top of the water hahaha). I do find it to be a nice change of pace, something to play around with and have a good laugh for. For the price I paid (Jeff Hill you rock), I have absolutely no complaints about having one.
It's ton's of fun even if you just carve around.Alot looser than wakeboarding and ahhh the freedom of no bindings. Try it I'm sure you'll have fun and the next thing you know you'll be throwing down the tricks
the thing is, there is so much going on when you are wakeskating, that it is never boring. It may look boring but every ride is an adventure for me, lots of fun and as jeff said it is a great change of pace
