okay, okay, so I posted this once before. Really, though, I need some help. Anyone that's worked on a Sanger DLX with the ballast system that has advise on how to lube the rudder would have me deeply indebted. Thanks in advance.
What's up Evan? Not sure if they're the same but on my DXII (closed bow version of your boat) you just take the engine cover out, then pull the back seat out, then pull the rear floor panel to access the steering cable zerk fitting as well as the rudder zerk fitting. The only thing I'm not sure about is the ballast system as I have not worked on one with it. I can't imagine Sanger making it so that you can't service your rudder and steering cable because of the ballast system though. That 2/1 wet-suit works just fine by the way, thanks again. Let me know if I can be of any more help.
Whoops! Just read your thread further down the page. I guess I would have to see it then to be of any help. Can't imagine Sanger making it too complicated though. Maybe try calling Cal-Custom. Someone there should know.
