I currently own a 1975 Skier with a 302, 220 hp. I'm will be selling this boat soon because we bought a new 2004 DD Malibu Wakesetter. Not being a wakeboarding expert, I can tell you from experience that the little old Correct Craft is an excellant all around boat. It is a breeze to trailer, dependable as hell, goes like stink, and sounds like a hotrod. Of course it was made way before wakeboarding so the wake is tailored more for skiing. I've seen a couple with a seat type fatsack near the transom and the wake was decent. The only problem with these boats is their size. Storage is non-existant and seating is limited. We have a 6' FlitePipe in ours, which clamps to the existing pylon. From what I've seen the next newer model (2001 style) throws a bigger wake, but either way you can't beat these boats for dependability. BTW, you can run all day on 15 gallons! Good luck.
