Sanger DLX Lube Job?

I was just wondering if anyone out there has lubed the rudder on a Sanger DLX with the ballast package. Getting to the rudder is kinda involved. I have the interior (backseat and storage compartment) out, but I can't figure out how to remove the ballast tank to access the rudder. All I know is that once I get to it I am going to put an extension on the zerk fitting. Any help would be greatly appreciated...
