I'm struggling to decide between buying a Parks Camber Air Core 2 (2015 Blue and Orange) or the Slingshot Blue Pill. Would love some insight from anyone who has ridden on both and what does each board do better than the other.
Just this last summer, I was riding a Slingshot Recoil, (which the binding fast track ripped out on me) and got to the point where I could land Backrolls, Tantrums, and W2W 360s pretty consistently, but what I struggled with on the Recoil was getting good consistent straight up pop unless I went into the wake with a ton of speed (i.e. high line tension), which then, to me, makes any trick feel too fast and out of control.
I am looking for a playful board that does surface tricks very easily, but have the ability to do really high W2Ws with shorter more controlled cuts. I think for this I need an aggressive rocker line. Yes, I realize a lot of this is dependent on my skill level, but I want a board that favors my riding style. I live in Indiana and do not have any option to Demo boards... Thanks for any insight!
