Does anyone have a detailed Itinerary for the event yet? when is check in, when the comp actually starts, who runs when? I cant seem to find any info on either site about it.
Good luck, I can tell you that I think the Clinics are Friday, comp is Sat and Finals are Sun, thats the way its been the last two years. Robert should have somethin up soon, (maybe). The Itinerary could change due to the new long board didvision. Harold and I are arriving Wed. and camping till Mon. Are you coming this year? I'm bringing my boat, maybe you should come and take a set!
Hang in there follow shredders....As we all know its worth the wait. I now understand the info delays promoting the 2nd stop of this tour....Its a balancing act between closing reg at the right time and not getting the info out soon enough for everyone to plan...Time is very valuable on both side of the spectrum and your participation and feedback is greatly valued...you should be seeing info as the event fills up....or reg closes for the comp and the clinics....
Squid, can you at least give me the day and time we need to be there? does the comp start Thursday the 6th or is that just when check in and such begins?

The contest will run on Saturday and Sunday only. I have not put together the schedule yet as I have to see how many riders in each class to balance the day. It should be similar to the schedule last year that Allan posted. We are adding a long board division this year.
No kidding...clearly I have the wrong year...like last years...lol
Sorry Ben, I ment to remove the dates and just post the format. I retrieved it off the Open's site. Cut and Paste error that Dennis is always helping me with..thank D..
Dennish, will there be a division for womens masters, or do they get lumped in with the men? My wife will enter if you have enough to make a division of women only.
We have more competitors than ever, and we are working to get rider profiles up and a roster up also. We should have a schedule online Tuesday after the holiday coming up.
The sites will be updated with all of that information over the weekend.
We have 11 people in masters, which is awesome, but only 1 woman. Just have her sign up, she will have fun. I have yet to encourage someone to compete, and then regret it, especially at the West Coast Open. I remember Angie Viland wanted to drop out at the last minute and she was ready to puke she was so nervous. But she did it, and now, if there is a competition without 3000 miles, she is there. She is unstoppable!
If she does it this year, it will encourage other women to sign up, be the maverick!
