I agree. I would be curious to see a whole set from that guy and see what his riding looks like now.

Hell yeah. That was sick. I hope Parks can stay healthy and keep riding because he is one of the most entertaining riders to watch.

I love watching Parks ride, but I don't think he's got anything on Harley; not the way that Harley is riding right now.

So awesome to see hes riding at a high(er) level again! I always cant help but wonder what wouldve went down 10-14 years ago (when Parks seemed to be riding his best) if he was given the same equpiment and wake todays riders get to use. He was doing stuff 10 years ago that most of the top riders now are doing but with a tiny wake and crappy bindings.

Had to bust out the Parks 143 DNA with the Parks Bindings last night. Had a lot of fun. It pops hard and lands pretty soft, but it is anything but loose. Super locked. Sorry no pics.

if parks comes back to the pro tour he will probably do well. he used to always pull the switch double roll to revert. there's no such thing as half cab or cab on a wakeboard. maybe the tour guys will quit being lame and get rid of that fun box that serves no purpose except for transfer back lip to 90 out.

Ben - I've been waiting a few years to see that
Either that, or somebody (i.e. Lyman) does a HUGE transfer from the wake to the box.......
Otherwise....I'm with Mojo. ditch that thing and add 3 hits on a different rail with a winch.

There is no one coming up in the wake industry that has the style or presence of Parks, glad to see he can still ride and kill it

I bet that any non-wakeboarder you ask to name a wakeboarder will name Parks, that says a lot.

Andy- that scenario has happened to me a few times. Sounds simple but it says a lot about his impact on the sport.

I think they O'Brien said it great in the Parks movie when he said, "In some ways, Parks became bigger than the sport." The man simply excels at every aspect required to be a superstar in a sports/action sports market: He's got the pedigree, he's built his own image, dominated the contest scene, dominated the freeride scene, videos galore, influenced the definition of what wakeboard style is and continues to do so still, has marketed the sport very well, has become a successful entrepreneur by bringing his ideas from the water to the corporate side of things, and continues to bring new innovations and possibilities to the sport. He's the man. Bottom line.

Mojo,
I've crossed paths with him at a few PWT stops, and he's always been a super cool guy. He was the one who told me about RON1X coming about in Spring 07. Pretty cool to get an early preview of the upcoming company from him.
