I've had some stubborn water spots just under the rub rail on my boat for a while. I've tried a number of products that didn't want to take them off. (Even buffing didn't want to take care of them, I was getting close to wet sanding them!) I normally wipe down with a 50/50 mixture of vinegar and distilled water (not always, just when I have spots), and that didn't want to take care of them. Last night I experimented a little... I tried spraying some full strength vinegar on there and letting it sit for a minute, and then scrubbed with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser wetted with vinegar, and it took them right off.... Now it's nice and smooth under there, and I just need to hit it with some more wax. So, if you've got some stubborn spots that won't come off, give it a try!
