any of the boards with a grindbase would be awesome...ive ridden a lot of boards at cable and all you need is a good edge and a good ollie from the board, both of which the PS3 has. Plus its very hard to break a board with a grind base. Dont try to use a grind base board on the wake though i hated the extra weight and bulk of the board

My Slingshot is super fun on the cables... really a tough board when dealing with the rails and the flex is a lot of fun too.

I really like my PS3 grind. I have the limited and its held up really well for me. Well except for a nail incident. I like the way the grind base slides. My friend really likes the witness at the cable because it gives him more control and pop with his air tricks. Next year its coming out with the grind base so it will be interesting to try both. I can't do air tricks so for kickers and sliders I like the PS3. Plus its looser with out the fins than the witness which I like out at the cable. I like a little more hold behind the boat so I'm probably going to buy the witness next year for that.

I Ibex held up really well at the cables... after about 2 months of use it only had minor scratches.... slid really smooth, also without the fins you could press it really well because the ends were feature-less and flat The Monarch was a lot of fun there too, but I only rode that for a day or two, donno how it would fair after a few weeks

you should check out the 09 ronix boards with their new grind base as well. i'm a big fan of the witness, but i still managed to tear up a few LF grind base boards. i've heard very good things about the ronix grind base, so i'm interested to try that out.

I would for sure say slingshot... i know you have one now and its beat but honestly they are TOUGH. Mine has rail abuse since last Jan and its still in plenty good shape... I don't think you'll find much better.
