Long time since I have posted on this forum... Anyways i was just sittin here and wanting to get out and ride...but unfortunately, the parents don't wanna take the boat out. And for their vacation we had thought about going to texas maybe. So i looked about the scene there and found TSR...which made me really anxious to try a cable park. So since I have the urge to do something with riding, but can't ATM. I have decided I am going to try and contact the state of Nebraska about a cable park and see what their view on it is. Most likely there is nobody in this legislature that has ever ridden a wakeboard. So the advice I need. What all should I tell them the pros would be about it? So far I have that it would be Eco-friendly as no boats are used in the process. Would definately increase the states revenue in the summer as we don't have a lot of major lakes on the east side of the state. Plenty of room in this place...you can drive seemingly forever and not see a house. Would probably increase tourism (lol tourism to nebraska lol) as there are only 8 parks in the country. With 4 being in Florida. Info according to Cablewakeboard.com Wakeboarding is an extremely fast rising sport and it would definatly increase in popularity around here, thus more revenue is created from those who get into the sport, yet don't have a boat or don't feel like forking over all the money and gas. So my question, what else could I tell them about? As well who would I contact? or have i completely lost it right now... (Message edited by sportydude on June 26, 2008)
