Hey Dan,
I can't tell you anything about the boots. But if you're in CT you actually do have a few options in terms of pro-shops. The Connecticut wake community is pretty siloed, but growing. Hopefully through forums like wakeworld and facebook groups like CT Wakeboarding we can better organize and accelerate the rate at which people in CT will be exposed to the sport.

In the way of pro shops;
A and S Boats

Ask for Charlie! Great guy. His shop used to host a stop on Dave Briscoe's Summer Session's tour
Shred Candlewood

Ask for Travis. Another awesome rep who organizes multiple camps and events every summer on Candlewood Lake.
Brownstone Wake Park.

Ask for Mike. The park has come a long way since it opened about 7 years ago. What used to be 3 winches and a tinny has grown into 3 system 2.0s and a giganitc Unit XL kicker. I know they carry Liquid Force and I'm sure he'd love to get you some Raph Bindings.
Try to support local pro shops when you can and be sure to join that fb group! a lot of us post edits of our riding and it's great to see what else is going on in the state.
As for the Humanoid Boots....
