Here is a pic of my wake. I'll have to post a pic of the boat later as I'm at work. I LOVE my boat. We ride in a lake that is an average of 5-6ft deep. We generally have about 2800lbs of extra ballast, and roll with the plate almost all the way down. Lots of power (I have the 340hp motor, with the wake prop), tons of room for people and storage, great wake, and it looks cool. I have to say that the tower is probably the strongest one that I have seen. It doesn't creak, or sway from side to side at all, even when towing it on the freeway. I can't say enough about it. Its my second Supra and I don't think that you can beat the quality for the price. About the only thing that I would change(which I'm in the process of), is the fill times for the ballast. I changed out the bags and I didn't feel that the 2000GPH Rule was cutting it. So I took out the manifold, added a Tsunami and now it is much faster, but still not fast enough, at least for me. Other than that, I say buy it, he'll love it.

NICE WAKES!!!!!!!!!!!! supras are nice boats... i would say upgrade the option for the big "body bag" in the front ski locker and a heater.. he might think its expensive.. but when he want to use it ... its worth it

I rode behind Chris Walker's 21V this year. I really like the wakeshape. It's not a great wakesurf boat, but most of you are OK with that. I think that Chris's demo boat is for sale.

Not a great wakesurf boat?!? In my experience it is an excellent wakesurf boat. It doesn't have a huge pocket like some of the bigger Supras but the height and shape is great.

I’ve surfed behind my boat, a VLX, and a 21V. I only surfed on a 21V once and it wasn't tweaked like I do for my boat. I'd say my wake is OK, but for me the surf wake on the 21V was disappointing.

hmmm i am sure I can show some surf wake pics once i get home. i can make it big..... not a real long pocket, but I can make it big and steep and clean. we run 650# in the back corner and then all the bodies back there too and it is big.... Might need to jump on and try it again... lyle - the 06 is for sale. in the pic we are running 650# in each of the back compartments and a 1150# in the front all plumbed. A few people on the boat and line at 75'. 23mph. Wake Plate 3/4 up.

Maybe I'm spoiled, I run ++2,000 of ballast and we certainly didn't load up the 21V with 2,000 lbs (but I had fat sacks in the truck for well over 2,000 lbs. My comparison probably isn't fair. I will say again that I really like the wakeboard wake on the 21V.

I like to build a surfing wake that looks like this, with a nice long pocket. The surfer is probably 20 to 25 feet back from the boat and can surf from there up to 4 to 5 feet from the boat. Put 2,000 in a 21V then the comparison would be more fair.

totally different wave for sure. i have never gotten mine that long. i trade long for high and steep. i get a lot more mass right behind the boat than that wave, but can't go back that far. I think you could load more eight up front and get longer, but I don't think that long. PS can anyone else not search the forum for this post? I can only find it on the replies that come into my emails... weird

In this set up I have: 750 lbs Port locker 750 lbs Port bench 270 lbs pop bags port bow 230 lbs center tank 80 lb bar bell weights on tower driver watcher on clam shell seat Maybe one other passenger somewhere along the port side. I think you need to more some weight forward.

Another stoked 21V owner here. I've had an '04 Launch 21 (DD), '05 21V and '06 21V. Might hold out for '08 to get the next one. The only thing I would change about the boat has been remedied for '07....swivel drivers seat. Other than that...I couldn't be happier. I don't run weight like Diggs or BadBoyRipper, I run the stock middle bag (650lbs +/-) and have 800lbs total in the rear, 400 each locker..all automatic. I run alot of people usually and the wake is absolute money. Here's a few shots of the boat and the wake, with the weight above, but with only a handful of people/gear. A double up shot is in there too.

NAW what up man? Long time no see....Merry X-mas to you and Mel. See you at the show for sure BTw No that you're uh invertin....I"m gonna have to start spinnin DAMN YOU I second NAW His boat's wake kicks with is setup. Supra's are a solid boat. As far as design IMO the 21V is where it's at. The SSV was very shallow compared to that of the 21V and also the wake was a little different, but I've actually heard from a dealer that they revamped the 22ssv for this year. Anyone got fact on that? Not owning one but having driven and been in a couple different ones(21v's)...The ballast switches need better placement for sure. I haven't seen or been in an 07 so they may have changed that, but the hippo switches are practically on the floor by the driver's hand....can't tell if they are on or off and are kind awkward to reach . Just annoying to me..maybe it's cuz I have kids and they tend to push every button they see The one thing I like the most is that you can change the shape of the wake with the plate. You can peak it out or make it a little more mellow. Great for a boarding fam/crew with different ability levels. Helps the learning curve for sure

KR-Same to you and the family! See you soon..be sure to come by the booth at the show and I'll run you through the entire lineup. Lots of improvements for '07 that are super cool and functional. And yes, the 22 that you were in a year or two ago is a boat of the past! The new 22SSV is more of a 21V/24SSV hyprid. Deep, huge, completely new hull and a wake more like the 24SSV...which is dope.

The interior of the new 22ssv is the same as the 24ssv seating, depth, width.

21v owner here also 2005 love the setup for wakeboard bags take a little while to fill but i love it. Winter remodel job. added 4lights to factory speaker bar. built a sub box for jbl 13 sub. relocated heater some then put kickboard back in hides it all. looks great. put 600 pound sacs in rear lockers, have not yet tested out yet. also my favorite project and i think a must for all 21v owners is relocate batterys under pass. seat that is a pain in the butt to get under. will post pics with my new ride in profile hook up with boat and pics of all the upgrades. as soon as summer comes around.

New to boating 21V owner I love my boat, it has a sick wake, i have had some other people on the boat that say the wake is way better than the Malibu they rode behind. With the new wakeplate and wake prop the boat planes so fast. It is also nice you can program the amount of wakeplate into the perfect pass that way it is the same everytime. The swivel seat is so nice and easy to work. (Message edited by jbudnik on December 21, 2006)
