I might agree with Erik. I sent in my broken '01 Premier and got a free '05 Premier DNA. I did NOT like the new board at all. Don't get me wrong...I was pumped and very thankful to get a free board. I sold it and used the money to pick up a 3DS...much better ride for me.

Yea, still alot of time till the ice thaws, but i've heard it's alot different ride, not so sure about it, but i'll figure it out, i've got a marius too so no worries, unless i don't like either of them. But I'm not sure how the old one cracked, just drying it off after a set and one of the molded fins had a big crack in it, so i sent it in

I have done the same thing with hyperlite. They will talk to you personaly and depending on who you talk to they might let you send the stuff in yourself insted of haveing a dealer do it. Good luck!

Harry, the warranty is lifetime on boards and bindings, as long as you own them, for workmanship and materials. I've been told they stopped sending parts out because it was getting out of hand. Now they want returns to be done through any HL dealer.

I had a Hyperlite State board that had a bad finish on the bottom and was bleeding on my upholstery. They swapped out the board with a new 06 Murray. They are a great company!

I don't want to beat a dead horse, but I just picked up my 06 premier today. Hyperlite gave it to me to replace an 02 premier that I broke last week. They responded to my local shop 6 days after I sent the cracked board in!

How long is the average waiting time for Hyperlite to warranty something... my dealers had my old byerly for a month already and still no word. Maybe he smoked himself retarded.

Tyler- Maybe you should call Hyperlite yourself to check on it and when they got it. My local shop sent the board in on 1/20/06 and they called back 1/26/06 to say that they had gotten the board and couldn't fix it! I would imagine their warranty department is pretty slow right now.

It took me quite a while, I sent it in right after labor day and just got it back around the 9th of jan, but that's b/c all the 06's were backordered. Just stay in touch and you'll be fine.

Flyhigh I had a HL rep contact me after reading a post about a lace that busted and he sent me all new hardware. His name is Tim. When I get home from work I will post up his info. He is the rep for my area so I don't know if he is the one in your area but he should have the info for your area if he isn't.

Here is the contact info: Tim Pelletier South Central Sales Manager hohyperlite@aol.com He hooked me up after I posted on here about my busted binding lace. He is a cool guy and if he doesn't cover you neck of the woods I bet he know who does. He went out of his way to contact me. Saved me a trip to my local Board Shop and sent the hardware free straight to my door! What awesome customer service!!!

Got one for you, I bought this board from a truck load sale (it's where you return stuff to the store and the store ships it to another store to sell for cheap) so it's not exactly hyperlite allowed to sell. The top right corner is cracked and you can see the layers, i have the warranty card, could I return it? It's an 01 element, i think and 06 parks could work though. Possible or not?
