Yep, a rare occasion indeed. That was just after coming out of Hickory Creek. Almost across from Sneaky Peat's. The shot over the bow was on the way to HC. Also on the main body.

After a blow out 20 minutes from the house on the freeway I got to spend my saturday with this. 8 miles long 1 mile wide the shape of a banana and only about 8 boats in total.

I need clarification, 5000, or 500? 5000 is a HUGE lake for being "man made"

Lake Livingston in Texas is man made and is 80,000 ares +. In fact I think Caddo Lake is the ONLY natural lake in the state.

The next lake down from is is 23,000 acre man-made lake... which eventually flows into a 17,000 acre man made lake. I think the term can be messy, there is man-made in the sense it was dug out and created from scratch, and then there is man-made that means someone dammed a river, and the resulting flowage created a lake - considered "man-made"
From Wiki -
Quote:
Lake Petenwell is a man-made lake in central Wisconsin, in Adams, Juneau, and Wood counties next to Castle Rock Lake. It covers over 23,000 acres and is 42 feet deep.

Joe Pool Lake, south side of DFW. Took this pic at the beginning of the season this year, and haven't seen another day like it since. We're pretty much the only lake that isn't down a few feet, so EVERYONE is coming to our lake. It's been really crowded and really crappy riding this year since the lake isn't that big. Been thinking about making the drive out to the "secret spot" down on the Brazos with a buddy of mine lately due to all the douchebags on my lake now.

The good old days in Utah... Our water hole is pretty much dried up so now have to deal with crowds or head to Powell.
There are times that UT Lake produces but not very often...
