Travis you know you love driving in circles. If you need to fly me in and give you a break, I will happily leave work to do so.

Is Harley doing the PWT Jr Men or Pro? Wake Games is different- there's no reason to ride Jr Men. It doesn't count for anything and there's no money. What are the results? Any upsets? I heard Harley, Lariche and Sharp were all in the same heat.

I heard dean Smith got knocked out. Robbie Carter, Alberts, Lidberg I remember hearing made it. Austin won his heat. Larich and Harley made it thru and knocked out Chad. Tholander made it. Nick Weinicker made it. Corey Bradley and Oliver Derome. Can't remember others. Nick Jones did not.

Harley is riding in Pro's at the Pro Tour and there probably isnt any money there for him yet, I think Harley would be happy to finish in the top ten overall this season. remember he is only 15

The seeding and placement of the heats is all done by the numbers. Chad was the highest seed yesterday because he was the highest on the KOW rankings from last year that didn't get a bye. Jimmy's rank was very low because he only rode in one KOW tournament last year- Jr men doesn't count, and Harley didn't ride in any. So the computer saw them as two of the lowest points and that is where they ended up. Too bad for Chad. The system prevents anyone from hankering with the heats. I know I use to wonder why it looked like they stacked some heats and others were pretty easy but it is all by the numbers. The heat of three would usually be the result of no shows but they usually rearrange that before the start.

Crazy to see Scott Hussey out there. He was the first pro to ever invite me onto his boat when I first started doing WakeWorld back in '99! It was a murdered out MB...even the seats were black! They were all covered with neoprene. He was a man before his time! Very surprised and bummed to see that Dean Smith and Chad Sharpe didn't make it in. But awesome to see Corey Bradley, Kyle Alberts, Kyle Rattray, Austin Hair and even old man Zane Schwenk win their heats!

I am glad ali is part of the wakeboard scene but I wish the writers knew the sport better. I hate it when they say so and so scored a 100, the highest of the day. That does not mean they had the best ride. They simply won each category in their heat. It is quite possible they may have had the 10th best run of the day and the best run scored a 90 in another heat but had better competition. I know it is knit picking but still.
