So I'm going to get "a new" wakeboarding boat. (2005 or newer) What is the best money can buy right now? I like the X-2 alot (i'm a sucker for the picklefork... but the wake is shady. What do you think? Starting to move on from the X-2 and thinking the X-1, Air Nautique 210, or Malibu VLX, etc. Trying to find a deal on the X-Star, but not looking good. Gimme the goods!!??!!!!

I've seen Tiges - 05/06 22V's and 0622Ve's, in that price range. Trailer, ballast, cruise, full stereo, etc. Tige is worth a look.

You can get an 05 X-2 for under $40k. This is the 205V hull like the X-1.

Mobius LSV. Try one out you won't be sorry. The wake is big for wakeboarding and surfing. If you take the time to demo one you will like what you see.

05 tige 22v maybe even a 24v you may be able to find a 06 22ve the 05 210 isnt a bad choice either. not a real big fan of the x2 just to small inside. good luck

If you consider yourself "core" than an x1 or older x2 are pretty nice wakeboats. If you still want a nice wake and a little more room the vride/old vlx is another proven performer. The old 210 is nice but the wake is so hate/love it. I would also consider a Supra 21V but I personally have not ridden behind one. However, I have heard good things about the boat.

Thanks Nick. This boat (by far) is the most boat and easily best wake for the money you can buy. (I am not some Supra loyalist either) I really do not want to sell it but need the money. I may even go lower than that because I lost my job and need to sell it fast!

I vote sanger 215 because we got last november one with 120 hrs (o6) and have outfitted it with full stereo (sub/ tower/amps) and after buying new wakeboards ropes/gear registration and insurance we are well under 40K, probably into it less than 35, ballast system is next but if I went for a blingin homebuilt switch only job it would still be only 1500 or so more, still less than 40, granted I do all labor myself so that saves a bunch on maintenance and stereo install $$$

Thanks homies!! Right now I am leaning towards 22 footers, like the X1, pre '06 X2, Nautique 210, or Malibu VLX. Maybe a Supra as well. Trying to steer clear of the Tiges, Centurions, and Moombas. Sorry proud owners. Am I legit in my options?? I'm in St. Paul, MN if that helps. Willing to drive < 500 miles. I like the Ad posts too...keep em coming. Thanks again homies. Ride on!

Hey Matt those boats are pretty tiny and not 22 footers.......for the same money I would strongly suggest you get wrap around seating...it makes a big difference in the interior feel and helps out with weighting the boat with people in your boat...just my .02. If you say compare the X1 with a supra 21v.....you get a lot more for the money in the 21v. (no I am not biased).

You're selling yourself short by not looking at Moombas. But hey, ignorance is bliss.
