I just put up this video of Scott Stewart and it got me thinking. He's one of the few riders that I would never pass up an opportunity to watch from the boat (or anywhere else for that matter). What about you? Who are the riders that you would absolutely have to watch if given the chance? Extra points if they are underrated riders!

Harley, Rusty, Danny Harf, Bob Soven, Vandell, Benny G, Steel, and Dean Smith. Afternoon of this group would be perfect. Nice blend of power and style between all of them.

I'm gonna concur with the above. My perfect boat would have Vandall, Greenwood, Lyman, Ruck, Dowdy, Deano, Rathy, Harley, and Shota. A great mix of style, tech and overall boosting out of that group right there.

Cause he's a prick... I personally would just watch Phil from a chase boat, to keep from punching him in the mouth. Anybody who slaps the water that much when they take a fall, isn't doing it for fun.

The only rider I've ever actually seen from the boat is Shaun Murray a few years ago. He was such a great guy and so easy to talk to that I couldn't even believe that I was talking to a professional athlete. He was just goofing around behind the boat and it was still amazing to watch him.

I second Shota. I got to ride with Rusty and Dowdy last year and that was a great experience.
Jeff Weatherall was super fun to watch. As was Kalberts, Dean, and Bryan Hutton.

Interesting topic. My boat would have Rusty b/c he also participates in another sport I enjoy: CrossFit. Murray b/c he seems like such a genuinely good dude. And Lyman b/c he's serving my country in the Armed Forces and me being a veteran I have a true respect for fellow service men and women. That's it. Just those three. I would want to get some sets in too! More than 4 and no one gets enough riding time. Especially since I'm pretty sure those guys take LONG sets.

In keeping with the OP's question, no one can deny the all encompassing entertainment that is Shaun Murray. There's not even a close second place. I'm not just talkin riding skills. He provides much more than that. The dude's attitude is infectious. He exudes fun. He has never taken himself too seriously ever. That includes the time when he and many others were making this sport what it is today. Can't have enough Murray. Just watch any of his interviews (past or present) and see why there is no other better ambassador of wakeboarding/fun ever. Even his riding style has a sense of humor and that is why I vote for him. Anyone remember the retro contests he's done? Friggin hilarious. I'd pay money just to sit in the boat and watch him ride.

I am with Markj. I have been lucky enough to be in the boat with a handful of pro's riding. The one thing that stuck out in my head was riding in the boat with Travis, and Darin Shaprio, and both of them said they loved watching Murray ride, because it was always just fun. He has always been on my list of people to meet.

No love for old Parks? I'd be keen as to spend a day on a boat watching him, Murray and Danny Harf riding.
