Ok, we're about to go into the Tige laboratory and create WakeWorld's next ride, a 2012 Tige Z3, but I'm having trouble coming up with a color scheme that I like and I need your help! If you got a spare moment, would you mind heading over to the Tige boat builder and come up with something that you think looks cool? If I use or am inspired by one of your submissions, I will hook that person up with some WakeWorld shwag of their choice.
The only real requirement is that it have some "graphite" in it because that will match my silver truck. My truck and trailer will also have matching black rims in case that affects your color choices. I'm a fan of simple, so lots of different colors probably won't appeal to me, but who knows!
Just go to http://tige.com/boats/z3 and click the "Build Your Tige" button at the upper right to start the boat builder. Once you've got something you like, do a screen capture (Alt-PrtScn) and paste the image into some kind of photo program so you can save it to jpg or gif. Then upload it to this thread.
Thanks for your help!

Simple and clean. I think this will look nice with a black trailer with your black rims.

Tige has that REALLY nice "platinum" color I've seen on some of their special edition boats.. It seems like all white with "platinum" is gonna be the ticket..

Some of those lack "graphite!" I gotta match the truck. Plus, I want to mix it up some. In the last ten years I've had an all white boat for eight of those. I still love all-white, but I'm looking to get nutty this time around!

Thanks David.
I've always dreamed of designing a boat for myself. Designing one someone else like enough to do would be the next best thing.

Just got back from going tooth and nail through a Z3. That boat is the real deal!!! You are going to love this boat. Everything is so well thought out. Little things like the floorboard hinging up so you can get to all your ballast pumps. The flipping sun deck or walk through. The back storage folds to the middle of the boat so you if your at a dock or putting stuff in your boat from the side you can look in or throw stuff in without getting in the boat. The boat is deep you feel like your sitting in your living room. I am 6'1" and fit in the bow no problem. You guys are going to love this boat.

So far I'm liking what PLR has done. I would do the black and gray in their pearl/metallic to get a little sparkle. It's hard for it to look good on paper, but I think it would look really sharp when it's done. Any thoughts?

i think it is good. but what about a gray dash to decrease the temperature a couple degrees. especially when you go to reach for _______ item set there after baking in the sun... not that gray will be terribly cooler than black so maybe it doesn't matter

That might be an idea, but I've got black right now and it's not really a problem. Not sure if I've ever had gray. Might be time to try it.

another thing to consider about black or gray for the dash is
1. black dash - match the dash to the tower (things above the deck are black)
OR
2. gray dash - Match the dash to the gray front of the boat and the gray decking.

David, have you decided on or ordered your boat yet? PLR's combo is really good looking and even though I personally don't like graphics those one's look a little more subdued and a good combo of classic and new/hip.

I'm going to go with what I posted. The front graphic will be replaced with a WakeWorld logo of some sort. I'm waiting to hear back today on the start date, but it should be soon.

I had my grays mixed up, so I tweaked the final version a little. I changed all the "Granite" to "Stone," which is a lighter gray that will better match my truck.
