So the Dallas/Fort Worth area finally has a cable park coming to the area, and I can’t wait for warmer days to get here. I plan on hitting the new park up weekly, but don’t want to beat the heck out of the board I ride behind the boat. I will be looking to pick up a new stick before hitting the rails at the park, but have no idea what makes a good cable park board.

Obviously something with a grind base would help with preventing damage. Are there any 08 boards that had a grind base that I might pickup for cheap. This seems to be a new trend for this year’s models.

Does the type of rocker have any affect at cable parks? What about size, would you buy the same size as you would for the boat? Thinking a smaller than normal would help with maneuverability.

Anything else to look for? Thanks for your help.
