Took my 2000 Extreme into Shadow Trailers Friday for a complete re-build. It's been around for 9 years and has takin a beating over that time period. It was pretty much a barebones trailer with just a swing away tongue and disc brakes as it's only options. It also just had paint sprayed on it, not powder coated so it was beginning to rust although it's never been in salt. So the makeover will consist of, new fenders, mounted ratchet tie-downs, XL winch, XL front jack, LED lights all around, new fenders, new bunks/carpet, chrome plated aluminum wheels (not lowprofile though) sandblast to bare, coat with zinc rich primer, coat with black powder coating, repack bearings and replace seals, new wiring harness, go over brakes. So pretty much a new trailer. I looked at their work while I was there and they build top notch trailers that are innovative as well as purrdy. With the powder coating, I shouldn't ever have to do this again. Going black this time around.
