Its sealed motor and cone are completely weather-proof, while the water-tight terminal cover provides strain relief, insulation, corrosion prevention and ignition protection.

This nautical sub features a black injection-molded cone, tough Santoprene® surround, and a white or charcoal-colored basket and grille, which are all UV-treated to combat Mother Nature. Its bolt-thru grille offers extra protection, and all hardware is crafted from corrosion-proof, 316L stainless-steel. The KM10 meets or exceeds industry standards for environmental humidity and corrosion* and for material degradation due to UV exposure.**

Additionally, the KM10 subwoofer is engineered with the highest level of magnetic shielding available, minimizing compass and gauge deviation in the boat’s dash and preventing navigational complications.
