Trying to remove the fabric topsheet, anyone done this, mine is all frizzy after 3 rides.

Look at this post. We removed the fabric and it took all of 5 minutes. Get a razor to peel back a corner and the rest just pulls off in pieces. Looks pretty cool when done, glass/foam & inserts.

Edit: you can trim the edges if they are frizzy. I did that and then heated it with a lighter, it's nylon and seals the frizzyness.

Ive trimmed the edges but jsut dont like the fabric anymore. maybe ill ride a few more times then try to rip it off. Is there glue under the fabric that needs to be taken off after.?

when mine got wet, it was peeling and i just grabbed and ripped. It's pretty east to do when it's wet

your talking about the LF faction wakeskate right?
i havnt had any problems with the fabric. the paint on the bottom started coming off. but thats from dock starting. i just sanded it and sealed it.

sorry about that.

thats why i was confused.
the Lf faction has the foam/ fabric grip on top instead of grip tape. so i assumed you meant that. well i wish you the best of luck
