I have been thinking about picking up an instructional wake video and not sure of a few things. It seems my riding has sort of hit a wall and I can't get it to progress so I am wondering if using an instructional video will help out? Also which one should I pick up? Thanks!

I have "Higher Education" but prefer "The Book". The Book breaks things down in greater detail, especially in the Building Foundation section.

I found Detention pretty helpful as well.

the book is probably the best vid out there....it tells u everything from getting up, edging, base inverts, mobes, and how to do every spin there is in every little step

No offense to the other fliks (which I own or have watched), but nothing has progressed my riding more than watching The Book. The "Building a Foundation" disc is a must have for any rider and the drills have helped my edge control, pop and switch riding tremendously.

The Book is, without question, the best instructional out there. The amount of information they give you is insane and they go into tons of detail on every trick. I love how there are like 4 audio tracks to choose from, depending on who you want instructing you. It's also great that they show you how to practice on a trampoline. Detention is a really good instructional and I love both the style that it is presented in and Murray's antics, but you just can't beat the volume of information in The Book.
