They were passing flyers out to everyone on Memorial day but people were blasting stereos all day (me included) with the Sheriffs hanging around and I didn't see anyone ticketed.

I think its a rule, but I think its a gray area type of thing. Hopefully rarely enforced. As I read it it said "reasonable level" which makes me think you should get a warning first.

They really need to quantify that to make it enforceable. Such as XXX dB at XXX feet.

The neighborhood I grew up in, the rule was, if you could hear it at the curb, it was too loud and could be cited.

sounds like another excuse for the sherrifs to pull you over and check your boat for alchohol, life vests, and floating throwout device thing (don't know what its called)

Folsom has the most BS laws out there. Isn't it also technically illegal to do any inverts there?
