UTAH BOAT SHOW

The Utah boat show is coming up. The dates are Feb. 4th-8th.
I was wondering who is going and for what reasons?

Hey Marcus,
I'll probably check it out on Wed. Not interested in buying a new boat, I'm happy with the used one I have. I just want to see what all the new features are on this years models compared to last year's models. It'll be interesting to see prices and what kind of boat show discounts the dealers will be offering.

Sorry that I never contacted you last spring when I got back into town. I just thought about it and realized that we never had a chance to talk about the issues you wanted to discuss. Maybe we will get a chance at the boat show?

Will do Marcus. I wouldn't call them "famous", far from it. I was pretty surprised about the WakeUT calendar, didn't even know that Jed submitted the photo.

Are you allowed to say what boats Croft will have at the Show?

I will be there as well. I have been going every year for the past 10 years. We just enjoy the atmosphere and checking out all the latest and greatest. Finally pulled the trigger on a new 2007 Sanger from Marine Max a year and a half ago so no need for a new one. We will however be looking for some infant life vests as a new one is due in April.

I was planing on it but i am going to phoenix instead ;( but still happy.

i just go to be surrounded by wake atmosphere and maybe pic up some gear or at least ideas about gear

Hey David, the new Sanger dealer in Utah is Sequoia Motorsports in Salem. I live about 10 minutes away. I will try to stop in and ask them if they will be at the show if you would like.

David, Sequoia Motorsports has confirmed that they will be at the show with Sanger. Kendra even mentioned that Scott Pellaton will be there as well. Scott is a stud and can answer any questions you may have about Sanger.

Salem is about 15 to 20 minutes south of Provo between Spanish Fork and Payson.

E.J. ~~ I think I know where your camped at, isn't there a little bay in the back if you follow that rock mountain to the right? The wife and I camped over there and had to walk the boat in but damn was it calm and nobody around.

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or "Mormon," and I wakeboard.
Monday evenings is a particular popular time for "family wakeboarding"... at least in Utah from my experience of thumbing rides there.

The only Mormons who can't wakeboard, are missionaries, but that is just during the 2 years of service (18 months for women who choose to go). Reason being,... #1, let's just say they are too busy to board. that time is dedicated to spreading the gospel and nothing more really ;)

it is funny how soo many of the rules for missionaries are incorrectly extrapolated to 'Mormonism' as a whole.

And the "Boat bun" is good 'cause they aint drinking and smoking and all that stuff. nice and healthy! and that thought came from a non-member co-worker of mine in the past, not me, though I have to agree ;)

ANYWAY...

hope to see some pics and video guys. i was hoping to make a lil' documentation of my own, maybe next year

Most of them will be at the slopes the first few day's. I'm guessing from last year all the same will be there. Don't forget Murray just might make a showing Saturday. Heck we had Harf, Watson, Henshaw, Bonifay, Heny, Ruck, Doyel,and all the project's crew (damn their were a ton more). Should be a good time and not mad at all that I will miss the weekend show's... Hell ya I'm going boarding for the weekend!!!
