I know this topic has probably been up a thousand times but I'm too lazy too go search for the page. Any ways I know taking the fins of helps with edging and are kind of a crutch, but once you take them off do you leave them off once you get use to the ride or do you just leave them off while working on edging?

IMO, If you get to where you can edge good without the center fins them leave them off you dont need them anymore. I dont ride with center fins at all.

I have taken mine off of both my Absolute, and my Marius. The board is looser, but I really like it that way. I see no reason to ever put them back on, and I am sure I probably never will. Just don't see a reason. Just me though.

Anyone ever put just one center fin on, so you get more traction riding switch? I just thought of the idea and would give it a whirl if i wasn't pulling the boat for the year in the AM.
