Is this a nice boat strictly for wakeboarding? Isn't this the same hull as the Mobius? What is the difference? How is the rough water ride?

Mechanially and build quality good?

Mid to late nineties - no good for wake boarding. You need 2000 or newer if you want a decent wake. The 2000 - 2002 models had problems with the interiors wearing out prematurely. Other than that, their great wake boats.

i bought an 05 outback in 05, it was my first boat and i knew nothing about boats, it was cheap and looked nice so i bought it. honestly it was a great boat! it drove great, was a great first boat to learn on. i traded it in for a vdrive the next year though, for the money the outback is great but room was an issue and i didn't like having to fill ballast bags everytime i rode.

Moomba is a great boat. Get a V drive. I have had 2 Moombas. A 2005 LSV (now the Outback) and 2007 XLV GG

Is it a Outback LS? The LS in that year range had the same hull as the Mobius.

The 07 Outback V is the same hull as the 05 LSV Mobius and the 05 Outback LSV. In 05 the LS was the same hull but not a V drive. 06 is when the introduced the NEW LSV hull, deeper and longer. They needed to add to there line of boats. Very high reviews on the addition. Any V drive boat will fit your needs. Beg to inter choose the 05 LSV hull and comparables. Inter to adv choose the 06-07 LSV hull. Adv to Pro choose the XLV.

what years were the outback the same hull as the mobius?

Mobius is simply the wake edition. The models are V LS LSV XLV. Take a look at the Moomba site. If you go to archive you can look at all the boat models from today back to about 01.

22k to 35k you can get a good Moomba 2001 to 2006. How much are you thinking of spending and I can better suggest.
