I have been trying to make a tough decision on which boat to buy and have been extremely confused in my search as I want to get it right and don't plan on a boat change for a long time after this. I have had my eyes on a new 230 or axis a24. As of yesterday I went to demo the a24 and upon arriving at dealer I realized that boat is just too huge for me, it is a monster for those who haven't seen it in person. I did a demo on mxz instead and I loved the look of the boat. The boat had the hard ballast tanks but no extra sacks in back lockers. The wake was very nice but not overly impressive. the surfgate was cool but the pocket wasn't there and anytime I let go of rope I would slide back over the wave and was done after that. for those that have this boat can u tell me what you think of it, both good and bad as I have replaced the axis with this and now am considering new 230 and this mxz. will adding the bags to the rear lockers make that much of a difference to both the wakeboard wake and the surf wave? Is this boat a good surfing boat? thank u to whoever can help. My biggest thing is I want to get this decision right and not have to repeat it. my next boat will be my last boat possibly and if not will be the last for a really long time.
