Looks really nice! Hey this is kinda OT, but does anyone know what lake they filmed at for the MB video on the home page. Especially at the end, that lake looks amazing.

Brett, I asked for that option but MB's lawyers decided that the lead install wasn't in their best interest.... not sure why though. Matt, yep... pretty much the same. Surf wake looks excellent from the pics I've seen. Will post some when I get it out in about a month or so.

The axles on the trailer might not like that inch of lead either...Any pics of the inside before the carpet? I'd love to see how they do the ballast setup.

Wow, that's quite a statement. It looks nice to me. As wakeboats have gotten deeper freeboards, they do look a little more like I/O's, that being said, nothing about this particular boat looks cheap.

I don't think he meant that, I had the same reaction and didn't relate it to being cheap, just from the angle it looks like an I/O

Lol I did think of correcting him with "Sea Ray," but I think the thing that gives it that appearance is probably the lack of the tower. Either way, I meant no disrespect as it looks to be a boat and wish MB boats had more of a following/presence out this way so I could check one out.

Onlyinboards, didn't know that. I've been to the Mastercraft and Nautique dealerships in Fenton, which are practically next door, but never passed by or heard of that place, although it appears they've been around a while. I had seen an old B52 or something at a boat show a few years ago, but didn't take much note and didn't see any display for MB at the boat show this year or notice one in the last few years. I'll have to check it out when I go up there next time though, thanks. (Message edited by wakeborder5 on April 14, 2009)

Yep, black on the bottom.. Hoping for some interior install pics today and a lot closer tomorrow. Jim from Neptune Audio is driving down with Jim from HSEto hook up a Revolution Volume Control tomorrow. Gotta give out big props to both of them for going WAY out of their way to help me out. Will post pics of the install when I see them.

Ian, you are gonna love that boat. You driving out to get it? Also, Luke B posted a question about the MB home page video last week. It was all shot up at Tullock Lake, about an hour from the MB factory. Amazing, quiet lake. There's a canyon that goes back about 6 miles into the hills that we got special permission to run fast in, otherwise it's a no-wake zone. we got glass for about an hour every morning.

loved the space in the bow of the Tomcat last year but went with more of a traditional styling this year. I think the Tomcat was a little too radical for people here in Iowa and I'd like to resell it on my lake or close.

no new updates yet... bummer. I think the interior is actually going in tomorrow so hope to get some pics. Thought i'd have it by this weekend but looks like it's going to be next weekend. So, this weekend i'll be powerwashing and sealing docks, decks and steps at the lakehouse... but in 82 degree weather, i will not be complaining at all! Glad the knee is holding up.. how was the water in the mighty miss?

Yep, I asked MB for 6 interior speakers and that is what they came up with, the new design around the speakers looks sick. Not sure if he's going to make it standard. They are putting 4 of the Rubicons up there on Monday, system should bump pretty good

At boat shows people would always ask if they could add a wakeplate to the new MB's. I just said yes, rather than try to convince them that MB's are very well designed. Then after a demo, the issue never came up again.

I was in Portland a couple months ago and saw one at Active. MB's are very impressive boats. The pictures I saw previously did'nt really catch my eye. But, I love how they are ....practical. In other words not a lot of extra crap that you don't need. Not just show but go.

IXFE - What are those ports next to your exhaust? Is that for ballast to exit? OnlyInboards - What are those open holes in the interior for, under the floor? Picture 6 from the top? You said the balast tanks were already in, are those for storage?

OnlyInboards - I have been following this thread closely. Since I bought my TWB off the lot, I didn't get to follow the build process. Any chance you can host all your build pics in full size somewhere? Maybe Photobucket?? I could look at them and study them for hours! A few questions... 1) What engine did you get? 2) Describe your system? Speakers, amps, etc. 3) Did you get a heater? How many cores/outlets? Where? 4) Did you have to ask to get the fancy chrome MB logo on the trailer? I have same exact trailer, sans chrome logo (see pic). 5) Which racks did you get? 6) What are your plans for a spare tire? 7) Where are you going to store this beast? 8) I assume the rest of the features are like mine... dual batteries w/ Perko, Zero Off, yada, yada, yada. Anything else unique or different? 9) So you + me makes two TWB's out there. How many more of us are there?? and finally, 10) What made you choose this boat/model? It's always fun to hear about other people's decision making process. Congrats!

1. 343 motor I'm sure (i honestly don't know) 2. I asked for two additional interior speakers. There are two amps and 4 Skylon Rubicons on the tower plus the sub. Also have the HSE revolution volume control and an EQ installed. EQ for adjusting volume of tower speakers. Thanks to JIM AT NEPTUNE AUDIO! Call him up in Norcal! 3. Yep, got the heater - same as yours 4. no, i didn't ask for that, must be a new design. 5. Standard racks 6. none, i don't trailer 7. on a lift 8. yep - just the Underwater LEDs and the new design around the rear interior speakers 9. Just two on this site that I know of... I think G might join the group soon I wanted a traditional nose boat vs the pickle this year as I always sell the boat and I think the Tomcat design was a little radical for people in the midwest Will try to get some wake pics this weekend and surf pics with a 750 in it.

Ian, Thanks for all the great pics, it really made a difference in our decision to go with MB. Our MB F21 Tomcat was sprayed last night, and MB should be sending me a few pics soon to post. We went with the 400 HP engine, pro series 2 swivel racks, sent our X8000 LEDs to be installed.. We pretty much upgraded everything to the best MB offers. Mike Brendal was great to work with in designing the boat to match our company colors. I cannot wait for a pull. Ken Land Bullet Lines www.bulletlines.com
