I'm very close to purchasing an Inland surfer but before I do I was hoping to get some feedback as to what the surfing is like behind an '03 SANTE!?

Good. You need to ride on the drivers side of the wake b/c of the way the prop spins. This is good for goofy footers but bad for regular footers.

You do not need to ride on the drivers side. I surfed behind a 2001 SANTE on the passenger side just fine. The wake rocked.

Also have surfed behind my 1999 X-star and a 2001 Malibu Wakesetter..all on the passenger side. Prop rotation seems to have no impact on what side of the boat you want to ride on, the wake was just as clean on the passenger side of the Nautty as the other two. Just weight down one side and you are good to go.

The Nautiqe had a VERY steep wake which was great for surfing, it does seem to require that one be closer to the swim deck than the other two boats I surfed behind, but it was also easier to stay in the "pocket" than the other two.
