I can only compare between the 2005 transits vs. 2006 Zeus.

Ankle holddown on the Zeus far and away beats the Transits.

For me having wide (EEE) feet the Transits were too narrow. But for normal feet they are great.

Calf support the Transits are stiffer. (The 06 ones lost a lot of the calf support when I tested them).

Footbed, the Zues are ok, Transit 05s were slightly softer.

Weight, the medium Zeus are a noticeably lighter than the medium Transits.

Mild heel lift on the Transits, very mild vs no heel lift on the Zeus and no foot shooting out the front of bindings on bad landings.

Hope that helps. Both are great bindings, but I love my Zeus just all that much more.

From what ive seen, its all personal choice. The 06 Zues'es felt really weird to me, and i didnt really like the foot bed. But i ended up riding limited transits last year if that tells you anything.
