08 Ronix One Release date?

I may be jumping the gun here, but with the Ibex hitting the shelf in late July, I've got my hopes up...

Does anyone have any insight on this?

Do you think they'll take into account all the warrentee work that's floatin around from the 07's that they weren't able to replace? Think they'll run out of boards again?

Whats the best way to get on the list to get an 07 warrentied w/an 08?

Im assuming it'll be a similar ride. I doubt they'll change it much other than cleaning up the defects making it a better board.

I could be wrong though.

I have had a ronix one set up all summer. Have not had one problem. LOVE IT. I am disappointed that I havent landed a 1080 yet though!!

If you have a 07 and want it warrantied for an 08 you will probably be waiting for awhile. I'm sure they have a few 07 lying about that they will send first. Plus all the 08 orders have probably been made and the shops will get their orders filled long before you get yours warrantied. Best bet is to take it to your shop when they get their orders in.

Im hoping its not. I like the way it rides as is. I figured maybe with all the feedback they got this year they might fix some basic issue's cosmetic or not, that have come up. Thats all.

On mine I had the tail peel im guessing from water friction. Just a small 1" delaminate issue. I sent it back and they repaired it no questions asked, but didnt have any 07's left to replace it.

Hence the question of, when/how can I get an 08. Looks like going threw the board shop is one way to take care of it. Maybe I can have them order an extra and swap it out.

I've seen the 08 lineup and suffice to say they kept the simple graphics of the One and shape wise does not look to have changed. The Coy looks heaps nicer this year as does the Covin. Love how they are keeping things simple in the graphics department. Only thing, the Covin appears less chunky to me so I'm not sure if there has been any shape changes on it, could be wrong.
