I have a few things which the dealer said they fixed (not) and I have a couple questions.
1.) Nuetral safety switch on shifter. How do I adjust that so when the shifter is in the center position, the boat will start everytime. As of now, I have to move the shifter slightly forward out of the the nuetral spot to start the boat. This is still not right.
2.) Gas gage is way off still. They said they ordered a new sending unit to fix this problem (not). I think I have this one covered, by just pulling out the complete sending unit out of the tank and slightly bending the rod/float in the appropriate direction to get the correct fuel reading at the gage. As of now, I have at least 1/3 tank full, and the gage says dead empty. When I top off the tank, the gage only says 3/4 full.
Any tips you can offer me would be greatly appreciated.

Wow. A few problems there huh?

#1, If you're going to do your own work, get the Chilton's manual. It's a lifesaver.

Don't know about the neutral switch. Depends on the brand.

But, get a new sender. Gas Gauges on boats are notorious for incorrect readings. Not a big deal as long as you know what you have in the tank. One of the biggest problems is the ground. Without a GREAT ground, you'll get inconsistent readings.

As to the warped platform, they are not common. Depends on the construction and mounts though. Is it factory? If so, contact the manufacturer.

I just replaced the neutral safetly switch behind the throttle control this spring. I was "jumping" the boat by bypassing the switch at the end of last season just to get the engine started. I have an outboard though so it might be alot different setup. The replacement piece cost me $10 and it only took about 45 minutes to swap parts...mainly because of hte awkward position under the gunwale and having to use a mirror and do everything in reverse. I do most of the work on my boat myself...but Leggester is correct...get a manual. Save yourself the headache!

Nuetral safety switch. This is how I did it on my boat. I would guess that yours would be close to the same. I have a MC ProStar 205, 1995.

Follow the throttle linkage back to the motor. It will be on a lever. Take the nut of and adjust the linkage. If you have to push the throttle forward to start you would need to shorten the linkage of I remember right. Only adjust it a litte bit at a time. It's very easy.
