I am hoping someone can help. We borrowed a friends board, didn't even use it but had it leaning against our trailer. All we can think that happened is that is fell over, someone stepped on it, didn't fess up, and put it back up. Now there is a crack on the bottom of the board. Can we get if fixed inexpensively. It's a HL Broadcast 5'6".

Thanks

for a second there I thought it was a new trick.
Not sure about fixing the board. hate to give you the wrong advise. Call hyperlite. Possibly it happened while riding.

It depends on how big the crack is and if it's running lengthwise or widthwise. If the crack is fairly small, not deep, just through the surface and is running lengthwise, you can probably get a tube of ding all sun cure fiberfill OR quite frankly a liberal application of 2 part epoxy.

If the crack is deep or runs widthwise (there is greater flex end to end and this usually will work the crack larger) you'll probably want to add some glass to reinforce it and possibly use a polyester resin to laminate it.

Most folks can do either, in the garage without TOO much trouble.

Broken board = a great excuse to add another board to the quiver... Your friend should be excited and thankful!
