Has anyone done it? Tonights a full moon and I've always wanted to ride by the light of the moon. Is this a bad idea?

i do understand that it's illegal, and i'm a firm believer in upholding the law ---- most of the time but it seems like it would be a pretty kick ass sensation to experience at least once am i wrong

Seems like it would be so cool to do, and I don't think the boat police are trolling around in the middle of the night, are they?

We surf at night under the moonlight with the tower lights and a 10 gazillion candle power light, but I don't know about wakeboarding...

The closest i've come is sunset riding. It was sick, looked like the water was glowing. Try moonlight the only way you would get caught is if someone that lives on the lake calls on you!

yea, but if you found out its legal on your lake, you should definitely try it, but make sure you get a ton of lights. I know they sell stuff like that. Have fun!!

I tried riding some time after the sun as set and it was getting darker... It really felt uncomfortable since I didn't really get the idea where the water really was... it was strange... kinda like waiting to hit the water without knowing when it was going to happen... maybe this feeling goes off when it's completely dark... or you should have the best tower lighting system...

We have done it a few times but its better with a spotlight. Umali seems to approve Hahn likes it as well. Picture was taken in scotty d's toyota epic with 8 or so people and three riders. That was a fun night
