I just found a fresh picture of the 2010 Vandall board and bindings. Thought I would share it here.

I saw that too, but look at the hole patterns,... Is that not a true flex board ?

It looks like it might have a flex pattern on the outside of the feet. I'm thinking the ridges in the nose and tail would prevent most of the flex but there isn't anything by the bindings. Wonder why they changed the binding holes?

That's what I was thinking J-Rod. I'm interested in seeing how this board rides. New construction technologies without as much flex...

Apparently it has flex, it is a bit stiffer than normal "flex" boards but in the center (or the tail, I cannot remember) it is supposed to kind of "recoil" off the wake.

Good to see Company holding true to their word. I was bummed when the new gear came out last year and it was just tweaked Slingshot stuff. They said things would be different and here it is!! Congrats to JS and the gang. Also, those boots look awesome. Well done! I'm guessing they changed the binding holes to be in line with their product development versus what Slingshot was doing. Good for them.

Actually Jordan that's the severance. Vandalls board does have sone flex but it's different than the recruit or severance it's a bit more rigid. Also company isn't all about flex theyre a wakeboard company not a flexboard company.

"Saw a few pics of Nicola's board and couldn't tell if it is a new shape? Anybody know?" Meant to be. Her and Greg Necrasson worked on it.Greg mostly.Nicola was consulted all the way. Most womans boards are just renamed models of something the board company they already have on the market. I saw it yesterday and she was meant to ride it but a thunderstorm put paid to that and it is now at Expo.Otherwise I would post some pics. She will probably be riding it at Worlds.

Hell yea that looks sick! That vandall setup is so damn nice, dont know if I could move off the severance shape, I love it too much but those bindings.. oh yea And back to a 2 hole system, im of 2 minds about that, its definitely a lot easier than the 4 hole system but theres no way it can give you as much lockdown

Jordan, We have 4 models for 2010. The Recruit Series (continuous Rocker), The Severance Series (3 Stage Rocker), The Wild Child (Nicola's Pro Model) and the Vandall (Randall Harris's Pro Model). We should have full color images up on our web site before to long. Keep your eyes out for them to show up.

Sorry. The Severance is now Tino's pro model, and rightfully so since he designed it. We did change some minor things in the core for this year however. The Vandall does have bottom features. V hull through the center with extra channels in the tip and tail. The fins sit in the channels angling the fins at a 5 degree angle. Hope this helps. Justin is studio shooting the product this week. Look for images soon.

We will be putting together a legit clinic video series on everything, but for now this is just meant to be quick and fun...Hi-5! Click here for the video...

I wish the Severance 138 came in the green color. Also I'm curious to how the new binding system is going to stay tight and not slide around at all. It looks awesome and I'm sure you took that into consideration but could you explain it in a little more detail?

Hey Company did you use the same bottom base (slider base) as last year or did you put a different base on the bottom? I loved the severance but I need a more slider friendly bottom. I felt it "stuck" to the rails a little more than the slingshots and LF Grinds. Other than that it was a SICK riding board. Loved almost everything about it.

Lucas (jlward1): The new system is LOCKED IN. There are these little inter-locking teeth on the inside of the clamp, and the plate, that lock into each-other once fully tightened. (Quite a bit more teeth than what other systems in the industry use that work solid, so were DIALED.) Patrick Phoenix (boarderpat): Sooner than later...Sooner than later...We're ahead of schedule compared to last year, so were stoked! TS (kcrider): We actually shared the same base material as Slingshot for 2009. We just didn't name it anything. We are using the same material this year as well for 2010 because we had great success with it. We have been looking into some new materials as well more specifically for jibbing, but until we're confident it will melt everyone's brains we're going to hold off until we have it dialed... Werd! hey company, I'm pretty interested in using the Vandall as my cable board. One question what are the fins made of? The one issue I had with my severance at cable this year was the fins catching on obstacles and then ripping the board, the fins were actually too strong! Instead of just breaking off, they actually broke the board. I know Sine has some kind of flexy fin which sounds awesome, just wondering what the vandall will be using.

I bought a 142 Company Severance about four months ago...I was out riding a few weeks back and the top sheet cracked after a hard fall. I emailed the guys at company and they mailed me a replacement board in 4 days! I couldn't believe it. That was the best customer service I have ever experienced! That's how you make loyal customers. I'm Stoked to try out the 2010 bindings! Thanks Company! (Message edited by TorontoThunder on September 15, 2009)

looks like the fins are made of G10 Fiberglass "Pro Fins - Only the best materials available are used on our signature series of boards and it doesn’t stop at the fins. The Vandall and Nicola boards use the finest fin material available, G10 Fiberglass. Extremely durable, these will hold up to even the harshest abuse. Oh ya, they’re repairable too!" http://www.wakeworld.com/boardguide/getboard11.asp?ProductID=5269 also, people on this thread have been saying that from the looks of things (pic at top) the fin holes have that red-colored 95A Urethane material lining the inside that is used in the sidewalls? stokemeter's lunchtime product show of Company 2010 gear http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/2086839 As for Sine, I know that they have said the current model was designed for wake riding and not rail riding... in a sense that there is no warranty for sliders. But apparently there are some that are using it at the park and are loving it. Sine is working on bringing out slider/cable park board for 2010 that is supposed to have some kind of a warranty for sliders. their patent pending flex fin ought to be a great addition stokemeter's lunchtime product show of Sine http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/2098206
